Privacy Policy

This policy describes what the Bikini Try On iPhone app does with your data. It is written to match what the app actually does; where something is a limit rather than a promise of intent, it says so.
The short version
- There is no account. We do not know who you are.
- A photo leaves your device only when you tap Try It On, and only that one photo.
- Try-ons are screened automatically for safety. A person reviews only what those checks flag, or what someone reports.
- Saved looks stay on your iPhone. There is no cloud copy.
- Your photos are never sold, never used for advertising, and never used to train a model.
Photos you choose
Picking a photo does not upload it. The photo stays in the app's own storage on your device until you tap Try It On. At that point the single photo you selected is sent over an encrypted connection to our server, which forwards it to the image studio that renders the garment, and the result comes back to your device.
For a try-on that passes the safety checks below, neither the photo you sent nor the image that came back is written to disk on our server. They exist in memory for the length of the request and are gone when it completes.
Safety screening and human review
The app has rules: use your own photo, adults only, and no explicit content. Those rules are enforced, not merely stated.
Every try-on is screened automatically. A try-on is held for review if it is refused by the image studio's own content checks, if someone reports it, if it arrives from a client that appears to have been modified, or if it is picked up by routine sampling — roughly one in fifty, so the review process stays exercised rather than theoretical.
A held try-on is stored on our server for up to 30 days so a reviewer can look at it and act, then deleted automatically whether or not anyone looked. Reviewers see only the review queue — there is no screen anywhere that lists all users' photos — and every time a reviewer opens a held image, that access is recorded in an audit log.
Saved looks
Looks you keep are stored in the app's own storage on your device. There is no account and no cloud copy. Deleting a look, or clearing your wardrobe in Settings, removes both images for good. Deleting the app removes everything it stored.
Analytics
The app uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand which features are used. It records which catalogue piece was chosen, which colourway, coverage and neckline, whether a try-on succeeded or failed, and how long it took. It does not record your photos, the generated images, or any identifier for you personally. For a colour you mixed yourself it records that the colour was custom and its generated name, not the exact value.
Advertising
The app shows rewarded ads from Google AdMob, and only when you tap to watch one. Before any ad is requested, the app asks for advertising consent through Google's User Messaging Platform where your region requires it, and then asks for App Tracking Transparency permission through iOS. Declining either is respected: ads still work, they are simply less personalised. You can reopen your privacy choices at any time from Settings.
Purchases
Purchases are handled entirely by Apple. We never see your card details. The credit balance is stored on your device.
Children
This app is for adults. It is not directed at children, and the photo you use must be of an adult. Any use involving a minor is prohibited and, if found, results in a permanent block.
Your choices
- Delete everything: clear your wardrobe and history in Settings, or delete the app.
- Advertising: reopen privacy options in Settings; change tracking permission in iOS Settings.
- Held items: write to the support address below and we will remove a held item early.
